As a practicing artist for over 30 years I have explored many subjects and forms of image and object making. I've always approached painting and art making as finding a subject that I was interested in and communicating something about it. Then through exploration, inspiration, desire, etc discovering and using the appropriate form to communicate what is needed. The subject and material together then create the narrative that speaks with a viewer.
